Just off Russell Square, Master Wei brings Shaanxi-style Chinese cooking to central London with bold flavours, hand-pulled noodles, and no unnecessary fanfare.
Opened by Guirong Wei, former co-owner of Xi’an Impression, the menu revolves around cold liangpi noodles, thick biang biang noodles dressed with chilli and vinegar, and cumin-spiced beef stuffed in crisp flatbread “burgers.”
Inside, exposed brick and simple wooden tables set a stripped-back tone, while a compact terrace adds a casual alfresco option.
