An independent Italian restaurant, Lucia is the queen of bottomless brunches in York. With a courtyard perfect for summer and a gorgeous pink interior, this menu is also available seven days a week. The brunch itself consists of garlic pinwheels to start and an Italian main dish for each person, think creamy carbonara, hot honey pizzas and chicken caesar salads. Drinks include 90 minutes of bottomless wine, beer, prosecco and selected cocktails. Although a little on the pricier side at £55, this is a quality, unique experience with top tier food. 

Have to try: Garlic pinwheels to start with a pasta to follow.
Perfect for: Girls night out or a special birthday meal.

The Biltmore

This sleek and elegant setting offers a 90 minute bottomless brunch with an outstanding drinks offering. With spirits, wine, beer, cocktails and prosecco, you’re sure to be spoilt for choice when deciding on your next bev! The menu is more breakfast and brunch food based, with classic favourites such as smashed avocado on toast and eggs benedict. This brunch is only available Friday – Sunday but with a slightly lower price at £40, this is one of the best in the city.

Have to try: Sicilian lemon gin and tonic (lots of them).
Perfect for: A weekend boozy outing with great photo opportunities.

Located in the heart of the city, Manahatta is a cocktail bar loved by all ages with a sleek and sexy interior. This is the perfect spot for date night or a girls night out, and the cocktails are top tier!

The brunch dishes are classic faves with a twist, including the chicken parmo on sourdough bread. Drinks include spirits, cocktails, beer and more for a whopping two hours. Priced at £38.95, it is a reliable, easy option for first time brunchers in the city.

Social 8

If you’re looking for  a cosy ambiance for an intimate date night or a catch up with your bestie, Social 8 has the perfect fairly lit courtyard. Whether you’re setting out to catch some sun or slowing down for a romantic summer evening, this place definitely brings the vibes for all occasions.

At £35pp, this is one of the best priced in the city. The price includes a brunch dish, 3 cocktails and 3 proseccos per person, meaning this is great for the slow drinkers of the group! The food offerings are solely brunch based, with pancakes, toasties and the iconic hash brown stack.

Have to try: Hash brown stack with chorizo and chipotle mayo.
Perfect for: An intimate, romantic date night surrounded by fairy lights.

Chez Mal At Malmaison

Every Saturday, the beautiful Malmaison Hotel opens its doors to the brunch goers of the city. With a restaurant full of photo opps, this is definitely one for the digital camera girlies!

The menu is one of the best we’ve seen, with a flat iron steak and the chicken milanese on the menu line up. Although the drinks menu isn’t as long as other spots, the value for money here is amazing, with the brunch costing £39.5pp.

Have to try: Steak & frites with an Aperol spritz on the side.

Tomahawk Steakhouse

Yes, a steakhouse bottomless brunch!  Available every Saturday, Tomahawk offers a 10/10 menu offering, including steak, chicken parmos, burgers and more!

Located in the City Centre, the interiors are rustic and homely, making this a great option for a family do or day out with the whole squad.

We were highly impressed with the menu, with everyone loving the steak and chips! With 90 minutes of  fizz, beer and cocktails for £34.95, this could be one of the best value spots out there. 

Have to try: Steak and chips with an espresso martini for dessert.

Pitcher and Piano

This offering easily has the best geographical location of the bunch. With a riverside terrace overlooking the gorgeous River Ouse, this is a great summer choice!  The restaurant itself is elegant and sleek, with huge windows allowing light to flood in.

For £36pp, the drinks menu is quite limited, with a choice of prosecco, beer, sprits and spritzes. An additional £10pp could allow you two hours of pornstar martinis, however. Food includes all the classics, including pancake stacks with a choice of toppings. 

Have to try: A classic bacon pancake stack smothered in maple syrup.

Las Iguanas

Are you even a bottomless bruncher if you haven’t been here yet? This is one of our favourites, with plenty of non-alcoholic options and plenty of very strong alcoholic options!

The restaurant is one of the more fun options, with funky interiors and South American vibes. The food options are strong, consisting of Mexican mouth-watering faves such as the Bahian katsu curry.

Drinks are where this place shines, with a huge cocktail list as well as beer, spirits and bubbles.

Have to try: The wray of sunshine cocktail for a memorable night!
Perfect for: A booze-heavy brunch with good food.

Slug and Lettuce

Another classic in the city, Slug and Lettuce is popular with the girls who love to get dressed up! With slots available all day, 7 days a week, you can always rely on this place for a good time! With cutesy interiors and pretty cocktails to match, this is a great girls day out location.

The menu is one of the broadest we’ve seen, with a mix of breakfast, lunch and unique foods. Our favourite was the peanut butter and jelly brioche sandwich! The drinks are also pretty solid, with cocktails, prosecco, spirits and more for two hours.

Have to try: The peanut butter and jelly sandwich with pretty cocktails on the side.
Perfect for: A last minute, girly brunch day.
