The Best Cafes in Notting Hill
This list of the best cafes in Notting Hill will get you working (or relaxing) somewhere cosy, calm, and way more inspiring than your kitchen table. We all beg for “work from home” days, but let’s be real – who actually gets anything done when your bed is just a few steps away?
So here’s your sign to get up and out. These aren’t just top picks for getting work done- they’re also perfect for casual catch-ups, solo coffee dates, study sessions, or just a chill spot to read a book.
No more overpriced, watered-down Starbucks. We’re talking proper coffee, fun and unique drink options, and delicious food that makes a “quick bite” turn into a whole vibe.

Beam
Beam is a really modern, sleek and just minimalistic cafe. It’s not doing too much and also you’re free from sticky floors and screaming kids. They’ve got the perfect level of refinement and casual-ness!
The cafe is inspired by the owners’ Middle Eastern heritage, so expect your classic drinks as well as ones you don’t tend to see at your local — and just the yummiest, freshest tasting food. They’ve got a wide range of juices and smoothies, and these were really calling our name, so we went for the mango, banana and strawberry smoothie. None of that makes-your-eyes-squint kind of sour, or half carton apple juice – it tasted super rich and fresh.
They’re also serving up all-day breakfast, which we just couldn’t resist. We went for the Turkish eggs which came with garlicky creamy yogurt, spicy sausage and multigrain bread – unreal.
Have to try: The smoothies and the Turkish eggs
Perfect for: Brunching
Approx price for 2: £35–£45

Tab x Tab
Tab x Tab is another really modern joint with its grey, slick interiors. If you don’t feel like you’ve got your life together – come here and you will.
Usually places either cater for being workspaces (so all about the vibe) or they focus on serving good food and drink. But here, they really hone in on both. When we went, there were loads of people fully locked into their work world, but after one look at the menu… we couldn’t resist. And because it’s independent, you just know everything’s going to be organic, fresh and full of flavour.
We tried their guest coffee blend which changes seasonally. They said you’re meant to get tones of strawberry, lychee and Ferrero Rocher. Can’t say we nailed all those, but it definitely had that sweet, nutty vibe and was super unique.
For food we went for the banana pancakes, topped with strawberry vanilla compote and maple pecan butter. Need we say more?
Have to try: Banana pancakes
Perfect for: Brunching, catch up with friends, workspace
Approx price for 2: £30–£40

Cherry On
Cherry On is just cutesy, elegant, wholesome vibes wrapped up in one pretty coffee spot. With a name like that, what else would you expect? There are cherry blossom trees poking out from every corner, pink and reddish interiors, and lighting that basically begs for an Insta story.
They’ve got one of the most expansive menus we’ve ever seen at a café — we’re talking pancakes, avo toast, burgers, pastas and pizzas. You’re spoilt for choice to the point that it’s actually annoying and you can’t decide.
We went relatively early, and since we were going for cute café vibes, a full-on pizza and cocktails at 10am felt a bit chaotic. So we went with the brunch — and let’s be clear, this was no downgrade. It came with two eggs (your choice, but let’s be honest, it’s fried eggs every time), halloumi, avo, mushroom, beans and toast. Basically your classic fry-up but make it chic — and minus the post-meal slump.
Have to try: Pancakes or the garden breakfast
Perfect for: Fun with friends
Approx price for 2: £30–£40

Farm Girl
Farm Girl is a cute, homely café that gives everything you expect from those classic TV show cafés. It’s cosy, girly, and perfect for a catch-up. It’s like an elevated, bougie, Instagram-worthy diner.
They’ve got a really fun list of drinks, so we’re afraid you will be judged if you come here and order a flat white. Yes, it gets the job done, but think about your Instagram – some of these drinks come in the cutest, most photo-worthy way. We got the lavender latte, which was a double shot (so still very effective), but infused with lavender for those subtle floral hints. We also had to try the “Happy Hot Chocolate” – cacao, date syrup, peppermint, matcha and CBD. Basically autumnal, Christmassy cosiness in a cup.
Food-wise, they’ve got it all: tacos, sandwiches, breakfast. We wanted to go for something new, so we tried the Seoul eggs. This was an omelette with veg, kimchi, feta and chilli oil. It was so good, totally elevated from that sad, boring flat omelette we’re all used to making at home.
Have to try: Lavender latte or rose matcha latte
Perfect for: Brunch with the girls
Approx price for 2: £30–£35

Hermanos Colombian Coffee Roasters
Hermanos definitely goes against the grain compared to most of the sleek, minimalist joints in Notting Hill. It’s more funky, more fun, and we’re absolutely not complaining. The exterior is painted baby pink so you literally can’t miss it.
It leans more towards quick coffee catch ups with the girls than deep focus WFH vibes – you can work here, but you might find yourself a bit tight for space. This spot is really all about the coffee (hence the name), and you can tell they take it seriously.
They sell their own beans in-store, and there’s a display of freshly baked pastries that change daily. Basically, the ideal dunking setup.
Have to try: Pain au chocolat dunked in coffee
Perfect for: Catch up with friends
Approx price for 2: £15–£20

Amoret Coffee
Amoret is a simple, casual but classy establishment. They’re all about specialty coffee, so you know you’re getting the best of the best – pure beans, none of that watered-down nonsense, all fair trade and just wholesome ingredients all round.
We went for the spiced oat chai latte. It was a rainy day and honestly, that’s just the ultimate cosy drink. It wasn’t overly sweet like most places fall victim to – it had the perfect balance of spice to soothe the throat, and just enough sweetness so it didn’t feel like one of those grim drinks your mum forces on you when you’ve got a cold.
We also got a cappuccino because, I mean, they do specialise in coffee. And you could really taste the difference, especially in the milk quality. Actual milk. From actual cows.
Have to try: Spiced oat chai latte
Perfect for: Coffee catch ups
Approx price for 2: £12–£16

Flying Horse Coffee
Flying Horse is a casual, lowkey spot that does simplicity at its absolute best. Nothing flashy or over the top. Just your favourites, done really well.
They’ve got all the classics: eggs and soldiers, beans on toast, a full fry-up. But since we have those way too often, we pushed the boat out and went for the Mexican breakfast – scrambled eggs, guac, beans, cheese and salsa all wrapped up into one big breakfast burrito. It was stuffed to the brim and absolutely delicious. We’re definitely going to try and recreate it at home, but let’s be real, it never hits the same.
If you’re more of a sweet breakfast person, they’ve got granola bowls too. And whatever you do, try one of the drinks – they all come out looking super aesthetic. We went for a cappuccino and it did not disappoint.
Have to try: Mexican breakfast burrito
Perfect for: Catch ups
Approx price for 2: £20-£25

Guillam Coffee House
Guillam Coffee House is sleek and modern – really clean, with that perfect soft café atmosphere. No chaos, just people catching up or typing away.
They’ve got a fun little coffee of the week menu where you can choose your beans, so it’s ideal if you’re a bit of a coffee nerd or just love options. We went for one of their specials: the white chocolate matcha latte. Now, to all the “matcha tastes like grass” people – try this. Genuinely. You don’t even need to be a matcha fan to love it. The white chocolate adds a creamy sweetness that’s subtle but totally transforms the drink. We basically inhaled it.
They’ve also got a lovely pastry selection – filled croissants, flaky bits, all the works. Great for dipping then and there… and trust us, at least a few are coming home with you too.
Have to try: White chocolate matcha latte
Perfect for: Catch ups
Approx price for 2: £15-£25

Mike's Cafe
Mike’s Café brings that old-school nostalgic energy that you so rarely find in London nowadays. It’s giving classic British, unapologetically, and we are so here for it. The kind of menu that confuses Americans on TikTok, but has a chokehold on every Brit.
We went for what might be the most controversial meal online right now – but also the most elite: the humble jacket potato. Except there’s nothing humble about it here. It’s huge, fluffy, with a massive fresh salad on the side, and toppings loaded on. You get one topping for £8.50 (but who’s doing that), two for £9.50 or three for £10. Obviously, we went big with the holy trinity: beans, cheese, and coleslaw.
They’ve also got omelettes, burgers, salads, and even some pastas that looked way better than expected. But the star of the show for us was definitely the apple pie. It was warm, had a buttery crust, served with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit. Just absolute comfort.
Have to try: Apple pie
Perfect for: Casual catch ups, family lunch out
Approx price for 2: £15-£25
