Marylebone’s culinary scene got a serious shot in the arm with the arrival of Cavita, Adriana Cavita’s Mexican spot that’s been turning heads – and tables – since it swung open its doors. 

If you’re sick of your regular, boring burrito joint, then this is the perfect place for you. We’re talking about vibrant, soulful Mexican cooking that’s both authentic and excitingly modern.

The kind of place you want to get comfortable, working your way through a menu that’s packed with both familiar favourites and innovative creations. From the smoky, slow-cooked carnitas to the zingy aguachiles, every dish is bursting with flavour. My tight jeans were definitely a mistake-  I just couldn’t stop!!

If you’re in need of a spicy, flavour-packed fix situated in the centre of Marylebone, then Trisha is guaranteed to satisfy your cravings! 

This Michelin-starred gem is the perfect mix of relaxed and elegant, all while maintaining a local and authentic feel. It is heavily inspired by coastal South West India so expect to be transported to the seaside with its range of contemporary seafood-focused dishes. 

Veggie? Not to worry. They also specialise in vegetarian dishes, and I’m not talking about a couple green beans and a few boiled potatoes. As a meat lover, I’m even shocked to say that Trishna’s vegetarian options were the MVPs.

With its stylish, welcoming atmosphere, we classify it as a spot that is sure to please both your stomachs and your instagram.

Lita is the place to be if you’re craving the bold, satisfying flavours of modern Mediterranean food.  

I am not one to willingly share my food, but with a menu that focuses on larger sharing plates, you get that familial, comforting feel whilst still immersing yourself in a refined, elegant experience. 

There’s something for everyone- wanting something light? Go for the vibrant salads and veggie options. Fancy a hearty, satisfying meal? Indulge in the array of succulent meats they have to offer.

Carlotta’s atmosphere is the perfect combination of intimate, glamorous and vibrant. I know our phones shouldn’t eat before we do, but you have to make the exception at Carlotta.  Perfect spot to dress up and post on Instagram, and you get your money’s worth with its generous portions. 

Carlotta offers a huge selection of pasta dishes or, if you’re craving something a bit different, go for their grill options. Pair any of these with a crisp white, refreshing aperol, any of the fruity cocktails- or, in my case, all of the above 🤣.

Even when you’ve had enough, you cannot leave until you’ve tried their world class tiramisu – it would be sinful!

We all know walking in London can be tiring, hectic, and overwhelming. So if you’re looking for a spot with a warm, wholesome, moody atmosphere then Nina is the one for you. 

Nina captures everything you want out of Italian food- moreish and just simply delicious. The house focaccia with parmesan butter is justifiably popular and it would be a crime to miss out on it! Follow this with your choice of seafood, salads, pasta, and much more. 

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and ease your stress at this cozy yet polished, and relaxed yet inviting gem.

Have you really been to England if you haven’t fully explored its iconic meat-centric cuisine? Prove your patriotism by indulging in the deep fried rarebit. If that’s too far for you, don’t worry. I, myself, wasn’t feeling so brave and opted for the more tame option-  the crispy duck, which was simply delectable.

In London, ironically we struggle to find restaurants that focus on their food as much as their ambience and interior. But that is not a problem here. It has a simple, traditional atmosphere so you know the food is the focus and it really shows!. St John Marylebone just does what needs to be done and hits the spot!

Here’s another favourite for you Italian lovers. Lina offers a lively, friendly atmosphere with a range of items guaranteed to satisfy every craving. 

The open kitchen at Lina Stores isn’t just for show, it’s a sensory feast! You’ll be deliciously distracted by the aromas of garlic and fresh herbs, making the wait for that perfectly fresh pasta almost unbearable (in the best way, of course!). 

Fair warning: once it lands on your table, conversation might just halt.

You don’t have to worry about keeping the mood or energy alive when you arrive at Hoppers Wigmore St in Marylebone! The atmosphere is already exciting and lively, and the flavours absolutely match.

And of course, you haven’t truly been to Hoppers until you’ve tried their famous hopper (obviously!). I know it’s hard, but skip your usual Indian takeout on a Friday night, get out and try something entirely different. You won’t regret it, I swear!

Don’t let the loud, buzzing vibe fool you though; it never takes away from the incredible food. Also, with exciting veggie options and plenty of sharing plates, there’s something for everyone.

Their Wiener Schnitzel is a showstopper, famously available in three distinct varieties – a must-try for any meat lover. You might also find other rich, traditional meat dishes like wild boar on the ever-changing menu. And for the veggies, don’t worry – Fischer’s offers meat-free options, uncompromising on flavour or variety.

To round off your meal, perhaps cleanse your palate with their delightful cheese plate, or if you have a sweet tooth, prepare to be tempted by a long, irresistible list of classic Austrian desserts.
