The Best Restaurants in Ealing

restaurants in ealing

Perhaps Ealing isn’t known for the glitz and glamour typical in central London, but the authenticity and creativity of its restaurants deserve serious praise.

Sometimes trekking all the way into the heart of the city just isn’t needed. A lot of the time we just need quality food without the hassle of a full-on journey, and Ealing is the spot for this. It’s got every cuisine imaginable here, all focused on homely, flavour-packed cooking rather than just pretty aesthetics. Because let’s be honest, we’ve all been to those spots that look great on Instagram but leave our stomachs unimpressed.

That’s not to say Ealing can’t do classy; there are plenty of elegant spots if that’s the vibe. But no matter where you go, you’ll leave completely satisfied.

Bobo Social

Bobo Social has elevated, bougie café vibes, making it the perfect spot for a solid lunch catch-up with friends.

We went for their weekend brunch, but don’t worry—the à la carte menu doesn’t differ too much. It was 12 pm… that’s not too early for a cocktail, right? There’s only one correct answer to that. We kicked things off with the La Belle Vodka, a vodka-based cocktail sweetened with cherry liqueur and fresh berries. The perfect early-afternoon tipple, in our opinion. Something really fun here is the Bloody Mary trolley: a mixologist comes to your table to create a completely personalised drink based on your preferences. Sadly we’re not quite refined enough to love a Bloody Mary, but if it were any other cocktail, we’d be first in line!

They’ve got all the classic breakfast options, but we were more tempted by the brunch-meets-lunch plates. We went for the Bobo Classic Burger—packed with all the works between two buttery brioche buns and served with skin-on fries. As if that sandwich wasn’t stuffed enough, we couldn’t resist adding extra toppings. The cheddar and caramelised onion combo is a sweet-savory dream.

Have to try: Weekend brunch
Perfect for: Casual catch ups
Approx price for 2: £55–£65 including cocktails

Santa Maria

Santa Maria is a homely pizzeria tucked just off Bond Street. It’s fuss-free and all about the pizza—that perfect combo of crispy, thin, yet still melt-in-the-mouth goodness.

We kicked things off with the classic bruschetta. This was thick-cut bread that’s crisp on the edges but fluffy inside, topped with tomatoes, oregano, basil, and, of course, a generous drizzle of olive oil. We were tempted to add buffalo mozzarella, but decided to save the cheese overload for our pizzas. Pair it with a glass (or bottle—no judgment) of Sauvignon Blanc. What goes better with bread than wine?

Then came the main event. The pizza list is huge, with endless topping options, but we finally settled on the Santa Caterina. It was tomato based, topped with mozzarella, salami, fresh chilli, and our personal must-have add-on: black olives. Not everyone’s thing, and we’ll never understand why.

And obviously, at an Italian joint there’s only one proper palate cleanser. A creamy, dreamy tiramisu.

Have to try: Santa Caterina pizza
Perfect for: Family meal out
Approx price for 2: £40–£50 with wine

Patri

Patri is definitely a step away from our standard local Indian spot—and we loved that. The whole point of eating out is to break from the usual, and Patri nails it. Sure, all the classic Indian favourites are here, but the menu also brims with creative and innovative twists.

While the drinks list is long, the mocktails totally stole the show. We went for the Tropical Saffron Punch—a creamy mango lassi mixed with tropical juices. Fruity heaven, and an instant cool-down for those who are spice-sensitive.

From the Street Kitchen menu, we kicked off with the crispy kale pakora chaat. It was crunchy, spiced kale fritters piled over sweet potato fries, drizzled with yogurt, tangy pickles, and spices. Basically the most flavour-packed, bougie loaded fries we’ve ever had. And hey, kale is healthy… even deep fried, right?

For mains, the Dhaba chicken curry was rich and the meat melt-in-the-mouth tender. But the real star was the Village Special Kadala Curry. A hearty vegetarian dish of black chickpeas simmered in a creamy, spiced coconut sauce. Paired with warm, fluffy garlic naan, it was pure comfort in a bowl.

Have to try: Crispy kale pakora chaat
Perfect for: Family meal out
Approx price for 2:  £45–£55, including drinks

Park's Kitchen

Park’s Kitchen is a laid-back spot right on Ealing Broadway serving seriously authentic Korean food. In London, it’s rare to find a place that focuses on one cuisine without the usual “pan-Asian” mishmash. This one delivers the real deal.

We started with the Korean pear juice, honestly the most refreshing drink ever. They need to bottle this for every supermarket. It perfectly cooled things down before our appetiser: tteokbokki—chewy rice cakes and fish cakes simmered in a fiery, spicy sauce. Everyone needs to experience that addictive texture at least once.

For mains, we went with the spicy chicken bibimbap. Don’t be scared by the word “spicy”—with the generous mound of rice and toppings, the heat is nicely balanced. And after that starter, we weren’t complaining. Packed with seasoned vegetables and topped with a fried egg, it’s a hearty meal that somehow didn’t leave us feeling sluggish. Pro tip: mix everything together into one glorious mash for maximum flavour, even if it ruins the initial Instagram-worthy look.

Have to try: Korean pear juice and tteokbokki
Perfect for: Authentic Korean food
Approx price for 2: £35–£45

Tetote Factory

So technically not a restaurant, more of a bakery, but Tetoe Factory on Ealing Broadway absolutely had to make this list. They do a range of savoury dishes that are proper filling, so we’re counting it as more than just a spot for sweet treats.

It’s a Japanese bakery, and while we’ve seen plenty in London, most specialise in aesthetic desserts. This place is all about the bread, and we were immediately hooked. Our favourite has to be the chicken katsu sandwich—homely, comforting flavours sandwiched between freshly baked bread. Another standout was the veg curry bun—no fear of dry, sad bread here, we promise.

They also get creative with sweets. The green tea brioche was interesting, but the choco lemon bun truly hit the sweet spot. Fluffy, decadent, and utterly addictive. We honestly just wanted to pack up everything on display and take it home!

Have to try: Choco lemon bun and chicken katsu sandwich
Perfect for: Light bites / sweet treat
Approx price for 2: £10–£25

Kathmandu Nepalese Cuisine

Kathmandu Nepalese Cuisine is the perfect family-friendly spot. Not too fancy, with a menu full of all the classics, but also refined enough to make us feel like we were truly dining out rather than just ordering in.

A lot of the dishes here will look familiar, especially for those used to local Indian cuisine. But we seriously recommend branching out and trying the more traditional Nepalese options. With that in mind, we started with the steamed momos. These were dumplings stuffed with lamb, spiced with ginger and garlic, and served with pickles. Comfort food at its finest, and yes, we burnt our mouths on every bite but it was so worth it. Another winner was the butterfly prawns. A pretty standard option but loved by all for good reason. Spicy, deep-fried prawns never go wrong.

For mains, we went for the Shangri-La chicken curry—battered chicken cooked in a sweet yet spicy sauce. It’s packed with crunchy peppers and onions for extra sweetness and heartiness. We paired it with peas pilau rice and a roti, and were left completely stuffed and satisfied.

Have to try: Steamed momos with chutney
Perfect for: Family meal out
Approx price for 2:  £40–£60

Mosaic Kitchen

Mosaic Kitchen has moody, dark interiors—basically exactly the vibe we expect from a steakhouse. It’s the perfect spot for special occasions when you want a treat without completely breaking the bank.

We kicked things off with an Amaretto Sour—keeping it classy for a relatively classy place. They also have a wide range of spirits, draught beers, and soft drinks, so there’s something for everyone. For starters, we went for the grilled halloumi (can never go wrong) and the jumbo shrimp. Both came with a side of warm bread, which was much appreciated because we took far too long deciding whether to order it or not. Simple, yet essential. No food envy here.

For mains, it obviously had to be a steak—ribeye with a garlic butter sauce. They do have other options like burgers, pastas, and salads, but it’s a steakhouse first and foremost. We went all in on the sides: mac and cheese and spring onion mash for carb heaven, and tenderstem broccoli purely for health reasons. Pure indulgence, balanced ever so slightly by some greenery.

Have to try: Ribeye with garlic butter sauce and macaroni and cheese
Perfect for: Special occasions
Approx price for 2: £85–£90 (steak and drinks)

Pasta Remoli

Pasta Remoli is a lowkey yet elegant spot in Dickens Yard, and honestly, it’s every pasta lover’s dream.

In true Italian fashion, we kicked things off with an Amalfi Spritz. Super refreshing, though let’s be real—nothing beats an Aperol. Hence, three of these were ordered after the first. They go down far too quickly these days! They were also the perfect match for our starter: Supplì al Telefono. Essentially arancini—deep-fried tomato rice balls with a gooey mozzarella heart. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside—it was honestly hard not to binge order these.

The concept here is genius: we got to build our ideal pasta bowl. No more praying the menu has the exact combo we’re craving. First, we picked our sauce—cacio e pepe. Then came the most important and probably most controversial choice: pasta shape. The sauce plays a critical role in this, it’s basically a science, and we landed on fresh tagliatelle. Finally, we topped it with parmesan—not that the creamy, decadent sauce needed it, but, well, it felt like the law.

We’d managed to restrain ourselves from ordering everything, so of course, dessert was a must. The pistachio and Nutella cheesecake? Absolutely mandatory.

Have to try: Pistachio and nutella cheesecake
Perfect for: Casual lunch
Approx price for 2: £60–£65 (starters, mains, and drinks)

Molana

Stepping into Molana in Ealing, we were immediately hit with the most fragrant, sensational Persian aromas. Honestly, it was almost overwhelming, but in the best way. Our hunger levels skyrocketed, and we knew the food was going to deliver.

We started with the hummus (because duh) and, to branch out, tried the Borani Esfenaj. This was seasoned, steamed spinach mixed with a thick, creamy yogurt and made the perfect dip for their warm, fluffy naan. For mains, we went for the spicy king prawn special. The king prawns came in a spicy tomato sauce packed with onion, garlic, chilli, coriander, parsley, peppers, and mushrooms, served alongside steaming rice. Truly a hearty, flavour-packed dish.

For a light and refreshing finish, the Persian ice cream is a must—infused with pistachios and saffron. They also offer excellent lunch deals, with lamb and chicken kebabs, wraps, or stews at great prices, making it a perfect light bite.

Have to try: King prawn special
Perfect for: Authentic Persian cuisine
Approx price for 2:  £45–£50

Polka Kitchen

It’s not often we find ourselves walking into a purely Polish cuisine restaurant, but Polka Kitchen in Dickens Yard truly had us questioning why. The interiors are elegant and traditional, and the outdoor seating is perfect for sunny lunch dates.

We started with a Polish classic: pierogies. They have a variety of options, but we went for the five-piece stuffed with garlic, spinach, feta, and sundried tomatoes—the holy combination. We also noticed options stuffed with raspberries and white chocolate and had already decided on dessert by that point. They really know the flavour combos people love.

For mains, we went for another classic: the chicken Kiev. It comes with potato purée, mushroom sauce, salad, and the real Polish twist—sour cream. This addition was the perfect complement to the decadence of the chicken Kiev, and we’ll definitely be stealing that idea.

Have to try: Pierogies
Perfect for: Polish cuisine
Approx price for 2: £40–£45
