The Dugout in Belushi’s, London Bridge

Nothing brings international football tournaments to life like The Dugout. Located just below the busy streets of London Bridge, Belushi’s has created a real gem where England fans gather to sit arm in arm and sing It’s Coming Home.

Granted, it always ends in heartbreak, but the experience you get in The Dugout is unrivalled and you can enjoy sports of all varieties there throughout the year. You don’t have to wait until the next World Cup!

It’s a great place for group bookings too – for £40 you’ll secure a ticketed seat, a burger and three drink tokens of your choice. Slightly pricey, but well worth it for a proper matchday experience.

Have to try: International Football
Perfect for: Group bookings
Approx Price for 2 people: £80

The Redback, Fulham Broadway

If The Dugout is the place to be for international football, then the Redback is top of the list for rugby.

During the Six Nations, the Autumn Internationals and the World Cups, the Redback has the best atmosphere, with fans of every nation coming in and out throughout the day to enjoy the large projectors and nicely watered down lager.

Yes, the drinks aren’t of the best quality, but one thing we do love about The Redback is that you can bring your own food in with you to level out the playing field. And with a Dominoes Pizza handily located just across the road, what more could you wish for at half time to soak up all that booze?

Aussies, Kiwis and South Africans especially love it here and they even do Bogan Bingo on Thursdays and Friday nights throughout the year too, if you’re looking for something to carry on in the evening with some additional entertainment.

Have to try: Bring your own food
Perfect for: International Rugby Tournaments
Approx price for 2 people: £30

Greenwood, Victoria

This is a real winner for those of you with friends scattered across London. Located just outside Victoria station in the centre of London, Greenwood is a slightly plusher way to enjoy live sport – the food menu is top grade.

Speaking of grades – you can even get your hair trimmed between matches – the venue has a barbershop inside, although we’re not really too sure why. It just kinda works.

Regardless, with trains heading out of Victoria Station to the south of England too, Greenwood is a great spot if you’re waiting for a delayed train to depart and have a few hours to kill. Swing by next time you’re in the city.

Have to try: Tequila and a trim
Perfect for: Meeting in the middle
Approx price for 2 people: £50

Flat Iron Square, Borough Market

With the Six Nations kicking off next weekend, there’s no better place to catch every minute of the action than Flat Iron Square in Borough Market.

The neighbouring food market only adds to the appeal of this destination but Flat Iron’s greatest charm is its sponsorship from Guinness. Kitted out to the max, this is a rugby fan’s dream. How many can you put away on a single matchday? You know the drill, tag us @getonbloc.

Have to try: A Guinness (or two)
Perfect for: Six Nations Rugby
Approx price for 2 people: £40

Famous Three Kings, West Kensington

The Famous Three Kings, located on the corner of the North End Road by Fulham and Hammersmith, is one of the trickier bars to get into with its strict first-come-first-served policy but if you’re willing to get down there early, you’ll struggle to find a better spot in London.

Pool tables, countless screens and one of the best atmospheres you could wish for, the Three Kings became Famous for a reason.

It’s also a great spot to enjoy the Cheltenham Festival, with punters and tipsters littering the pub and cheering their horses on to victory. Where else would you want to be in March?

Have to try: Getting down there early
Perfect for: Cheltenham Festival
Approx price for 2 people: £60

Bar Kick, Shoreditch

Situated in the trendy east London area of Shoreditch, Bar Kick probably offers the best return of investment for pints purchasing and enjoying sport at the same time.

This bar boasts twelve 4k screens over two floors so everyone has a cracking view of the action.

What’s more – they often show up to three different games at the same time – so if you and your friends support teams in different matches, you can still get together and not miss a minute.

Have to try: Champions League football
Perfect for: Cheap drinks
Approx price for 2 people: £20

Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill, Chelsea

Hidden in the shadows of Chelsea’s world famous Stamford Bridge Stadium, Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill is an ideal setting to have a more relaxed experience with a wide range of delicious food to choose from.

Frankie’s has 16 giant state-of-the-art TV screens dotted around and show the NFL, cricket, golf, tennis matches and more. It’s the perfect place to book a table for The Super Bowl and think of an excuse why you’ll be missing work in the morning. Be warned – it goes on until the early hours!
