The Best Bars in London Bridge

If you’re a tourist coming into the city, there’s no doubt you’ll end up at London Bridge — so take a look at our list of the best bars in London Bridge.
But this isn’t just for the tourists. We know locals sometimes avoid the area because it’s such a magnet for visitors and can feel a bit much. Honestly though, that’s a sad reason to miss out on some of the most electric, high-energy bar scenes the city has to offer.
Not only can you guarantee yourself good drinks, but you also get to soak up that buzzing atmosphere while staring out at some of London’s most iconic views.

Cahoots Postal Office
Cahoots is quite possibly the most creative bar we’ve ever been to. And that’s a big statement, because London is packed with the whackiest of things. From the outside it looks super unassuming, but once you step in you’re transported straight to the 1940s — fully post-office themed and unlike anything else.
Every Friday and Saturday they host live music. We went on a Friday and we were lucky enough to catch a DJ set. The vibes were unmatched — everyone was just there to have a good time, no pretence, just pure fun.
But the real showstopper? The drinks. Even if you didn’t love the taste (which would be shocking, because they’re incredible), the way they’re served is enough to make you fall in love with this place. Our favourite was the Signed, Sealed, and Delivered — a mix of gin, Aperol, peach, and guava — shot over to your table through an air-powered tube. That level of creativity makes even waiting for a drink exciting.
Have to try: ‘Signed, sealed and delivered’ cocktail
Perfect for: Fun with friends
Approx price for 2: £60–£80 (drinks only, depending how adventurous you get)

Swift Borough
Swift is definitely on the more refined, elegant end of the bar spectrum. It’s the perfect choice if you’re after a minimal-chaos kind of night. Sleek vibes, no shouting over each other, just good drinks and good company. It’s actually one of the newer bars on the scene, and we’ll admit we were skeptical at first (London loyalty usually lies with the spots that have been around forever). But truthfully? We had zero reason to doubt it.
The cocktail menu is a work of art in itself. Each drink practically comes with its own little biography — which we loved. No vague names that leave you confused about what you’re ordering. Everything is laid out clearly, so you know exactly what flavour profile you’re getting into.
Our favourite of the night had to be the Concordia — a mix of tequila, pineapple, ginger, and sage. It sounds almost healthy, but the instant buzz definitely reminded us it wasn’t.
Have to try: Cocktails with the chilli rice crackers
Perfect for: Sophisticated drinks out
Approx price for 2: £50–£70.

London Bridge Rooftop
Now, everyone’s heard of this one — it’s iconic. But we can’t put it any higher because, let’s be real, you might end up squashed like sardines, shouting to hear each other over the buzz. This place is popular for a reason, so timing is everything if you want a slightly calmer experience.
But let’s forget the negatives because the vibes here are next level. The views are sensational, and the energy is unreal. DJ sets every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday turn it into a proper party, so plan accordingly if you want that electric atmosphere.
Cocktails are a must-try, especially the salted caramel espresso martini. And yes, you’ll definitely be tempted by the food. Do yourself a favour and get the chicken tenders with BBQ sauce. Perfect drinking snack.
Have to try: DJ sets
Perfect for: Fun with friends
Approx price for 2: £45–£60.

Amazing Grace
Amazing Grace goes all out. We’re talking full-on American extravagance and drama (no offense, but we kind of love it). Neon lights bounce off the walls, the ceiling is decked with statement-making lamps, and the whole place just screams “let’s party.”
We went on a cabaret night and wow… absolute must. Live singers, drag performances, and a free glass of prosecco as soon as you walk in — talk about starting the night right. Their cocktails are just as fun. Our top pick was The Watermelon Sugar High. This was tequila, watermelon liqueur, pineapple juice and it was just a fruity, punchy delight.
Bonus points: happy hour runs 2–7pm Tuesday–Friday, with drinks from just £7. Seriously, you won’t find a better deal for this level of fun.
Have to try: Cabaret night
Perfect for: Fun with friends
Approx price for 2: £35–£50.

Nine Lives
Nine Lives has the kind of interior that instantly relaxes you. Dim lighting, greenery all around – it’s the perfect spot to get that post-work buzz we all crave. Although, fair warning, that light buzz quickly turned into a heavier one thanks to how good the drinks were.
Our favourite was the Sweet & Chilli — tequila, watermelon, habanero, and lemon. The spice was subtle but gave it that extra kick we didn’t even know we needed.
We came with no intention of eating, but it took embarrassingly little time to be convinced otherwise. The sweetcorn ribs topped with feta were the perfect way to balance the smokiness. But the real star? The El Gobanador tacos. Caramelised cheese, prawns, and salsa, all in two perfect bites. Heaven.
Have to try: The prawn tacos
Perfect for: Dinner and drinks
Approx price for 2: £50-£65

The Last Talisman
As the name suggests, the moment you step into The Last Talisman, you’re whisked away into a mystical, foreign, and enchanting escape. The bar serves up Asian food and Asian-inspired cocktails. A theme you’ll immediately notice with the Chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling.
We loved the Mala Spritz cocktail, which puts a fun twist on your classic spritz. It has rum and lychee liqueur, and let’s just say it makes the usual Aperols feel boring in comparison! The food here is just as impressive, with all your Asian favourites covered. They’ve got the rich curries as well as the perfectly light bites that pair brilliantly with drinks. The Korean fried chicken with gochujang sauce was a standout for us. Perfectly portioned so you still have plenty of room to keep enjoying those cocktails.
Have to try: Mala Spritz and Korean fried chicken
Perfect for: Dinner and drinks
Approx price for 2: £70–£80.

Vinegar Yard
Vinegar Yard is a completely different vibe from most bars in London, and definitely not your typical spot. For starters, it’s not just one bar. It’s a collection of them, serving everything from draught beers to spirits and wine. If you’re after a chill pub garden feel but with a bit more energy and style, this is the place for you.
They’ve got giant screens showing live sports, and with everyone outside enjoying a few drinks, the communal vibe is unbeatable. Once those drinks start to hit (and inevitably leave a little pit in the stomach), you’ve got a range of restaurants to choose from. We tried Bad Boy Pizza Society, and it absolutely nailed it.
On top of that, there’s even a flea market here, so they’re really going all out. Slightly dangerous though, because after a few drinks, you might be tempted to buy things you definitely don’t need, thanks to those beer goggles.
Have to try: Draught beer and Bad Boy Pizza Society food stall
Perfect for: Chilled drinks and live sports
Approx price for 2: £50–£60

Aqua Shard
We were glad our phones were fully charged when we came here, because wow—the views are next level. Gigantic windows replace the walls, so no matter where you’re sat, you’re completely surrounded by the stunning London skyline.
We went for their sunset sessions, which are basically Ibiza vibes without the hangxiety. Just pure beauty, good music, and amazing energy. You get to watch the sun go down over the city while the DJ spins Ibiza-inspired tracks, and it definitely gets lively. We tried every cocktail on the special menu (there were only five, so no regrets). Our favourite had to be the Penny Lane Punch—vodka, elderflower, and passionfruit rum.
Have to try: Sunset sessions
Perfect for: Fun with friends
Approx price for 2: £60–£70

The Green Room
Being called The Green Room, you’d expect something lowkey and chill. But remember—you’re in central London. So yes, you’re surrounded by greenery (hence the name), but done in the most bougie, luxurious way possible.
They run a cocktail club on weekdays from 4–8 pm, where you can get two cocktails for £15. Perfect for a quick post-work tipple. Our favourite has to be the LyChilli Margarita, which is exactly what it sounds like: a spicy lychee margarita that you could easily have too many of.
It’s definitely more refined, so don’t expect to be dancing on tables, but it’s perfect for a date night or a work event.
Have to try: Lychilli margarita
Perfect for: Date night
Approx price for 2: £35–£45

Bar Daskal
Bar Daskal is definitely more of a casual spot. It’s vibrant, open, and far from the typical mellow, dimly lit speakeasy vibes that have dominated this list. Being a Spanish wine, cocktail, and tapas bar, sophistication is key—but in a relaxed, approachable way.
We couldn’t resist trying at least one cocktail and went for the Maravilla. It’s rum-based with crème de cacao and orange—basically a grown-up Terry’s Chocolate Orange. Honestly, we’re not complaining. In hindsight, it probably works best as a dessert cocktail, but it was absolutely delicious.
Of course, we had to move onto the wines. We picked a bottle of Les Prunes from Valencia, a Spanish rosé with bright orange notes, and it was sublime. So good, in fact, we ordered a bottle to take home right after.
Pair your wine with a few small bites. We recommend the chorizo and pan de aceite, and you’ve got yourself a very sophisticated, enjoyable night ahead.
Have to try: Maravilla cocktail (Terry’s chocolate orange flavour)
Perfect for: Light bites and wine
Approx price for 2: £50–£60
