The city is known for its quick pace, hustle and bustle – so why not give those legs a break and check into some of the best hotels in London with a spa?

London hosts billionaires, royals, and A-listers on the regular. So, it goes without saying that it is home to some of the most luxurious hotels in the world – with spa facilities to match. Even if you’re just popping in for the day and in desperate need of a pamper sesh, this list has got your back.

We know trying new spa spots can be risky (we’ve all had the questionable massage experience), but the beauty of hotel spas? You know they’re bringing in the best of the best.

So, shall we? Time to treat yourself and dive into the ultimate list of relaxing getaways. Your robe awaits.

Mandarin Oriental Mayfair

The Mandarin is elegance, sophistication, and sleekness rolled into one – plus about a thousand other words we could throw in. It’s the kind of place that hosts weddings, so you already know you’re stepping into beauty and magic the second you walk through the doors.

There are two main restaurants here, one more traditionally fine dining, but honestly, everywhere you eat feels like a Michelin-level experience. We dined at their Japanese restaurant, and the menu had all the greatest hits – sushi, rice bowls, crisp salads, and beautifully cooked meats.

Now, let’s talk spa. The atmosphere was galactic. Truly feels like you’ve been transported out of this world and into some tranquil, zen-filled planet. We tried the Oriental Qi – supposedly their most “basic” massage offering, but trust us, there was nothing basic about it. The essential oils were rich and hydrating, and it felt like every ounce of stress just melted away.

Have to try: Oriental Qi (signature massage)
Perfect for: Tight muscles
Approx price for 2: £350–£550 (dinner + spa treatment)

Corinthia London

The Corinthia is hands down one of the most luxurious hotels in London — Beyoncé herself is a regular, and yes, we’re still in shock that we walked the same corridors as the queen. Actual royalty.

They offer a huge range of curated facials and massages, plus spa day experiences for two that give you access to all the essentials — pool, sauna, steam, the works. We went for the Back, Face & Scalp Treatment, and honestly, it’s the best of all worlds. You walk in looking like a sunken zombie and walk out like you’ve been reborn. The scalp massage? Think of that dreamy moment at the hairdresser when they’re washing your hair — now multiply that by a thousand. As for the back massage, our poor C-shaped desk spines finally got some justice.

To top things off, we ended the day at Velvet by Salvatore Calabrese — their cocktail and champagne bar. Pure theatre. We ordered their most popular drink, the Pearl Drop, a vodka-based cocktail with hibiscus, rose and a saffron honey twist. One sip and we knew — nothing else was going to compare.

Have to try: Back, Face & Scalp Treatment and the Velvet cocktail bar
Perfect for: A relaxing day/evening
Approx price for 2: £425–£475 for two (spa + drinks)

The Savoy

The Savoy, nestled right near Covent Garden, is luxury in every sense of the word. We made full use of the spa facilities – we’re talking a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Honestly, nothing quite beats doing slow, lazy circuits between the three. But here’s the fun bit — the pool actually has a jet stream you can swim against. Basically turns a chill swim into a full-on workout. Never seen that before!

They’re big on wellness here, so you’ll also find not one but two gym areas packed with every machine you can imagine.

We ate at the iconic Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsay and found ourselves sitting where legends like Churchill, Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra once dined — casual. The standout was the ricotta and heirloom tomato tart. Yes, vegetarian, and yes, it completely blew our minds. Sweet, vibrant tomatoes and the creamiest cheese ever. Faultless.

They do offer a range of beauty and wellness treatments too, but we’d say this one is a winner if you’re after top-tier pool and spa vibes with the added bonus of eating very well after.

Have to try: The steam room and the rum flambéed crepes in The Savoy Grill restaurant
Perfect for: A relaxing day/evening
Approx price for 2: £350–£550 (dinner + spa treatment)

The Berkeley

The Berkeley sits pretty between Knightsbridge, Hyde Park and Belgravia, offering some of the most stunning views of the city. You can watch the skyline gazing in your robe after a massage – what could be better?

We went for the “I Need It All” massage because, well, the name alone spoke to our souls. You can choose between 60 or 90 minutes, and it includes a mini consultation so the therapist can tailor the treatment exactly to what your poor tense back needs. What we really loved is that they don’t make you pick just one style – they blend techniques like Thai, deep tissue, and Swedish so you’re basically getting a greatest hits album of massages.

Facilities-wise, you’ve got the usual suspects: pool, sauna, steam room – but they even throw in a snow shower. Didn’t even know that was a thing! There’s also a lovely little café serving wholesome bites, perfect for those of us leaning into our wellness era. We had the superfood smoothie with strawberries, blueberries, oats, coconut milk, maca, collagen, and protein. A health potion, basically – but it actually tasted good. The Berkeley makes you want to get your life together.

Have to try: Any of the massages/ facials
Perfect for: A relaxing day/evening
Approx price for 2: £385–£540

The Mandrake

The Mandrake Hotel definitely goes against the grain – and we absolutely loved that for them. Forget bright, airy lobbies and typical spa vibes; this one’s giving mysterious, dark, black and gold interiors that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a luxe, otherworldly dream. It’s modernism, but on its own terms – moody, sexy, and seriously cool.

Same goes for their approach to wellness. They’ve got your classic treatments, sure, but also some pretty out there treatments like the Mud Cave and Origin Pool. Obviously, we had to go for the mud because we’ve honestly never seen anything like it. It’s meant to hydrate, detox, and soften your skin, and as sceptical as we were (because usually we’re lathering ourselves in 10-step skincare routines full of chemicals), this was so refreshing. Just pure, natural ingredients doing their thing — and our skin genuinely felt the difference.

The Mandrake makes you feel like you’re doing something a bit rogue, but still luxurious. Honestly, 10/10 for service and results.

Have to try: The Mud Caves
Perfect for: Skin treatments
Approx price for 2: £350–£500

St. Pancras London

St. Pancras London is probably the closest you’ll get to living out your royal fairytale dreams. The place is seriously stunning with its grand spiral staircases, velvet drapes, and architecture. What we loved most is how they’ve kept that traditional, historic vibe but modernised it just enough to suit everyone’s tastes.

Located right next to King’s Cross Station, it’s ideal for when you’ve just crawled off a train with aching legs and a stiff back and need some serious TLC. If you’re after a classic spa day, they’ve got a great package for just £70 per person that gives you full-day access to the pool, sauna, steam room – the works.

We opted for the Dine and Unwind package, which was £100 per person. That gave us 4 hours of spa access, a super fancy two-course dinner, and a little complimentary spa gift to take home (who doesn’t love a freebie?).

Have to try: High tea
Perfect for: Spa day out
Approx price for 2: £200 total (Dine and Unwind package)

The Four Seasons

We’ve all heard of The Four Seasons. It’s one of those names that already sounds relaxing, and luckily, the spa actually delivers. The light, modern interior instantly sets the mood: calm, happy, stress-free. The exact vibe we’re always after.

They’ve got loads on offer – massages, scrubs, body wraps. We went for the Gold Revitalising Sugar Scrub and let us tell you… it did things. Scrubbed away all the dead skin, left us feeling soft as ever – baby smooth without a doubt. You can even customise it with little extras like essential oils, lip masks or hot stones if you’re really looking to treat yourself.

We added on the Tension Relief Foot Therapy because after a full day walking around London, you know the feet are screaming. It was only £25 more and honestly worth every single penny.

Have to try: Afternoon tea and facials
Perfect for: Gift for close ones
Approx price for 2: £290 (just for spa)

The Ned

The Ned might be set in a former bank HQ, but don’t expect stiff corporate vibes. They’ve flipped that on its head and delivered full-on luxury, glamour, and good times instead.

We went for the mini Fire & Ice facial, and don’t be fooled by the word “mini” – this was unbelievably effective. It uses light therapy and hits your skin with contrasting temps, which basically shocks it into getting its act together. Skin left brighter, tighter, and softer. It only takes 40 minutes too, so you’ve still got time to explore everything else on offer (and trust us, there’s a lot).

The spa menu is expansive — facials, massages, scrubs, anything you can think of. Plus, the therapists are top-tier, so you can just lie back and trust you’re in expert hands.

The Ned’s got seven restaurants and three bars, so obviously we couldn’t try them all (yet), but we did head to Cantina Malibu and would highly recommend it. The Taco Flights come with five different tacos and three mini Palomas. Tacos and tequila after a spa day? That’s our love language.

Have to try: Cantina Malibu restaurant
Perfect for: Spa day with dinner after
Approx price for 2: £250–£280

Hotel Café Royal

Hotel Café Royal knows exactly what it’s doing by being parked right on Regent Street. After a full day of bag-hauling from designer boutiques to Zara to Selfridges (and let’s be real, back again), this spa comes in clutch.

We booked in for the Akasha Aromatherapy Experience, one of their signature holistic massages. Properly sorted out those knots that love to take up permanent residency in our shoulders. But here’s the thing: they do it without the unnecessary pain. No more lying there trying not to cry while someone elbow-jabs your spine. These therapists know what they’re doing – it’s firm, effective, but still deeply relaxing.

If you’re after more zen than de-knotting, check out their energy healing massages – the traditional Thai is perfect for this. They’ve also got a long list of facials and body rituals designed to tone, slim and basically make you feel like a better version of yourself

Have to try: Akasha Aromatherapy Experience
Perfect for: Fixing body aches
Approx price for 2: £340–£400

The Londoner

Now, when we think of Leicester Square, we’re usually gearing up for a night of drinks or food – nothing about it exactly screams self-care. But checking into The Londoner flips that whole narrative on its head.

Imagine lounging in your own poolside cabana, feet up, moving through the day from sauna to steam to pool like it’s a full-time job. We were lucky enough to visit during summer, so we tried their Summer Ritual Package – and let’s just say, it was everything.

This included an hour’s access to the spa, a massage, a glass of champagne, and an essential oil to take home (to desperately try and recreate the experience later, obviously). It came to £235 per person, which we admit isn’t cheap. But, unlike other bundle deals where it feels rushed and mid across the board, The Londoner genuinely delivered on every front. Quality treatments, no cutting corners.

Have to try: The private poolside cabanas
Perfect for: Relaxing evening
Approx price for 2: £470
