The Best Hotels on Liverpool Street

Some of the best hotels on Liverpool Street are hiding in plain sight—right in the heart of the city’s financial chaos.

Liverpool Street might be known as the financial hub of the city – flooded with suits, spreadsheets, and stress- but what people don’t realise is that some of London’s best hotels are tucked right into this area. You don’t just come here for banks anymore. You come to kick back, unwind, and experience hospitality done right.

This list rounds up our top picks when it comes to dining, wellness, and service – because trust us, Liverpool Street is serving way more than just finance. Its prime location means you’re a stone’s throw from major tourist spots, and the area itself is buzzing with some of the best pubs and bars in the city. So imagine this: you’ve had a few cocktails, you’re feeling good, and instead of squeezing onto the tube home… your bed is just a short stroll away. No dodgy late-night takeaways. Just room service, pyjamas, and peace.

Pan Pacific London

Pan Pacific London just oozes modernity and luxury from the moment you step through those doors and get that hotel lobby whiff (you know the one). You instantly feel like you’re somewhere important, and tbh, you are.

Their main restaurant, Strait’s Kitchen, is a fusion of Southeast Asian and Western dishes, and it serves from morning through to dinner. We went for the express lunch which was only £28 per person and came with a starter, main and dessert. The menu changes regularly, but we lucked out with a lime cheesecake that was actually life-changing.

But the real standout for us was the Ginger Bar & Lounge. We thought we’d stop in for a quick drink before heading out – next thing you know, we’re sunk into the comfiest seats known to man and not even thinking about leaving. The drinks list is unreal. We had something called the Unique Connection (fancy name, even fancier flavours): coconut oil fat-washed rum, roasted pandan, cocoa liqueur, chocolate bitters. Pure madness in the best way.

Safe to say, this place makes it very hard to leave.

Have to try: The Green Waterfall cocktail at the Ginger Lily Bar and Lounge
Perfect for: Pre dinner drinks
Approx price for 2:  £555 per night for a Premier Room. Prices may vary depending on booking dates and deals

Andaz London

Andaz London totally vibes with East London’s cultural energy, rocking bold interiors and loads of cool amenities.

They’ve got a bunch of restaurants, from casual spots to fancy joints. We hit up Lady Abercorn’s Pub and Kitchen. We  loved how you get the classic pub feel whilst you’re still inside one of the swankiest hotels. For starters, we had the cauliflower popcorn which was spicy, crunchy, and way too easy to demolish. For mains, we went classic with the 28 Days Aged Sirloin Steak Sandwich and fries. Fancy something more upscale? They also have a Japanese and an Argentinian restaurant, mixing up cuisines you don’t usually see in hotels.

If you’re here for drinks, don’t miss Rake’s Café. They serve all your favourite cocktails, wines, and have a perfect picky bits menu to soak it all up. Plus, they throw live DJ nights and brunches – basically, this place has everything going on.

Have to try: Lady Abercorns Pub and Kitchen
Perfect for: A quality meal or drinks
Approx price for 2: Around £450 per night for a standard room, depending on dates and deals.

Battery Langley's

Batty Langley’s stays true to its name and keeps that Georgian-era spirit alive. If you’re over the slick, ultra-modern hotel scene and craving something with proper British character, this one’s for you.

The rooms are pure vintage charm with the four-poster beds, heavy drapes, velvet throws in deep burgundy and gold. Think Bridgerton, but without the corsets. It’s no surprise the place is a go-to for film shoots and photoshoots

Breakfast here deserves its own spotlight. There’s the classic continental and full British, but the star for us was the Brick Lane Bagels. They source them fresh from the oldest bagel shop in London, with toppings like smoked salmon & cream cheese, avo-lime-chilli, or peanut butter, banana & cinnamon apples. We went for the salmon (obviously), but couldn’t resist a breakfast dessert with the PB banana combo.

Have to try: Any of the Brick Lane Bagels
Perfect for: Accommodation with a more traditional British feel
Approx price for 2: Around £300–£400 per night.

South Place Hotel Liverpool Street

South Place Hotel knows exactly what it’s doing when it comes to interiors. The cool grey tones keep it sleek and understated, but you’ll catch those cheeky pops of colour and leafy, naturistic touches throughout that give it real personality.

In terms of food, you’re covered. The main restaurant, Bluebird, serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. We started off with the rosemary focaccia which was crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft inside. It was obviously dunked generously in olive oil. For mains, we had the gnocchi with burrata. Creamy, buttery sauce, tender broccoli, a hint of garlic and chilli… still thinking about it, not gonna lie. If you’re feeling extra fancy (or just treating yourself because why not), there’s also the Michelin-starred Angler upstairs.

Wellness-wise, they’ve got a good setup: a well-equipped gym and spa, and a long massage menu that’s got everything from deep tissue to hot stone.

Have to try: Bluebird restaurant and the Swedish massage
Perfect for: Special Occasions
Approx price for 2: Around £350–£450 per night

Montcalm Royal London House

The Montcalm hits that sweet spot between understated luxury and proper comfort. It’s not over-the-top, but it feels special. The terrace is without a doubt the main character. With panoramic views of the London skyline, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail in hand and pretend you’re not in a city that never stops moving.

After a full-on day roaming the London streets, we weren’t in the mood to get all dressed up for a fancy dinner (though if you are, their Aviary restaurant does bring the vibes). We wanted something indulgent, satisfying and no-fuss. Enter Long Arm Sports Pub & Brewery. We split the fully loaded nachos which were absolutely drowned (in the best way) in guac, queso, salsa, jalapeños and sour cream. No dry chip left behind. We paired that with the rum punch cocktail which gave instant summer holiday energy. For mains we enjoyed the buttermilk fried chicken burger, made extra hot for just £1 more- coated in a tangy Nashville-style sauce that slapped.

Wellness girlies, don’t worry—they’ve got a full spa setup too: sauna, steam, pool, jacuzzi. And their treatments follow the ancient principles of Ayurveda, so you’re getting that deep-rooted holistic healing (not just a surface-level scrub).

Have to try: Long Arm Sports Pub and Brewery
Perfect for: Causal dining or Fine dining
Approx price for 2: Around £320–£400 per night

Club Quarters

Club Quarters is another one of those hotels that keeps it simple -but in the best way. No gimmicks, just good service, solid amenities, and a comfy stay. It’s not technically on Liverpool Street, but hold the outrage – it’s only a few steps away, so you’re still getting all the convenience and city buzz without compromising on location. Plus, you still get those skyline views, so all is forgiven.

Our top dining pick here has to be Gaucho, which you’ve probably heard of. It’s an Argentinian restaurant that nails that balance between classy and cosy. We started with the cheese and truffle croquettes – basically fancy fried cheese (and tell us one person who’s ever said no to that). For mains, we tried the chicken Milanese topped with lemon and parmesan. It hit that sweet spot between zesty and indulgent. But honestly, if you’re going to Gaucho, you have to try one of their signature steaks – it’s an Argentinian steakhouse after all.

They’ve also got The Counter Bar & Lounge, perfect for winding down with a well-made cocktail or even just grabbing a solid coffee before heading out to explore.

Have to try: Gaucho
Perfect for: Special Occasions
Approx price for 2: Around £250–£300 per night.

Wilde ApartHotels

Wilde ApartHotels is perfect if you want something upscale without the full 5-star fuss—casual vibes but always reliable.

They offer studios and one-bedroom apartments, each with a fully equipped kitchen, plus laundry services to cover all the essentials. There’s a bar and restaurant on-site serving quality food and drinks, but this spot really shines if you’re planning to explore London by day and just want a top-notch place to crash by night.

Have to try: The Breakfast
Perfect for: A bougie but more affordable place to stay
Approx price for 2: £280–£350 per night, depending on apartment type and season.

Point A London Liverpool Street

Point A London Liverpool Street keeps things lowkey, simple, and to the point. It’s a 3-star spot that doesn’t try to be flashy but still manages to deliver a solid stay. If you’re after an affordable but comfortable base that gets the job done, this is a strong contender.

The breakfast actually surprised us in the best way. For the price, we braced ourselves for something a bit sad – but they seriously delivered. They’ve got a mini bakery setup, and we went straight for the cinnamon swirls and blueberry croissants and these were flaky, buttery and not dry at all. The fruit selection was also on point—fresh, sweet, and way better than expected.

Location-wise, it’s a win. You’re walking distance from Spitalfields Market (aka the place all your fave food reels are filmed), and Brick Lane is just around the corner. Basically, your camera roll and your budget will both be happy.

Have to try: Blueberry croissant on the breakfast menu
Perfect for: Affordable accommodation in prime location
Approx price for 2: Around £150–£200 per night.
