The Best Brunches in London (Updated 2025)

The Best Brunches in London

We know that a brunch can either make or break your weekend, so we’ve been on the hunt for the 10 best brunches in London to leave the guesswork out of finding a delicious brunch.

We all know the sweet vs savoury struggle – but honestly, it’s the best problem to have. Whether you’re stacking pancakes, keeping it virtuous with classic avo toast, or washing it all down with a fresh juice (or, let’s be real, an iced matcha because everyone’s on that trend right now) — brunch wins every time.

With so many different options available in the city – if you’re a bottomless bruncher, looking for an aesthetic Instagram post or a massive foodie – we’ve found something for everyone.

Imad’s Syrian Kitchen

In the heart of Kingly Court sits Imad’s Syrian Kitchen, a restaurant that will transport you to the warm hospitality and incredible flavours of the Middle East. Imad’s story is one of resilience and hope, having fled Syria to arrive in the UK in 2015 and worked multiple jobs before following his true passion for cooking. You can truly feel the love in all the food at Imad’s, in addition to the deliciously warm and comforting flavours and spices of the region.

They have an extensive and inventive brunch menu with a range of classic Syrian breakfast dishes and sides to share. Alongside this is a creative drinks menu with fresh juices and teas. A twist on a classic full English breakfast and a ‘shawarma’ benedict will leave you impressed at the exciting flavour combinations and extremely satisfied. You have to try the Arman, which is soft poached eggs on a bed of sweet & spiced marinated beetroots (which were SO good), tangy fresh labneh and perfectly toasted sourdough bread. I could have had 10. Seriously.

Have to try: Arman (poached eggs, labneh, marinated beetroot on sourdough with jalapeno shattah)
Perfect for: Foodie brunch with bold flavours
Approx price for 2 people: £35-45

Mr Bao

You might know Mr Bao for their famous fluffy and light bao buns, but did you know they offer a brunch menu as well?

Head to their Peckham location just off Rye Lane to feast on their brunch menu. A cute spot, warmly decorated and with lovely service – you can grab a counter seat at the window to people-watch all morning, or take a table further back for a relaxed brunch.

Classic brunch favourites such as scrambled egg, bacon and hash browns are elevated with a Taiwanese twist to produce delicious creations such as char sui bacon onsen egg and peanut sauce bao. Their golden kimchi is a must try – more on the sweet side as opposed to spicy, with the turmeric making it ‘golden’, it is a treat for both your gut health and in terms of incredible flavours. A small menu offering, but food was delicious and moreish – we couldn’t get enough.

Have to try: Bacon, egg & cheese bao
Perfect for: Those looking for something a bit different
Approx price for 2 people: £35-45

La Nonna

Does bottomless brunch count? Well, we’re including it anyway. La Nonna is in the heart of Brixton market, making some of the best fresh pasta in London with an incredible bottomless brunch offering. 90 mins of bottomless Prosecco alongside a few starters to share and 2 delicious pasta dishes. Their freshly baked focaccia to start comes with deliciously nutty olive oil, alongside their unique deep fried pasta sheets with a garlic alioli. The fried pasta sheets are crispy and the perfect vessel for the garliccy goodness.

We have tried a lot of pasta in London and La Nonna is exceptional – the texture of the pasta is perfection and you can tell it’s made fresh every day in their kitchen. Do not skip the nduja and mascarpone bucatini; the texture of the pasta is chewy and delicious and the sauce is beautifully balanced with the creaminess of the mascarpone being cut through with the warm heat of the meaty nduja. We’re getting hungry just thinking about it.

Have to try: Njuda & mascarpone bucatini
Perfect for: Bottomless brunch and insanely delicious fresh pasta
Approx price for 2: £90 for bottomless brunch

Los Mochis

The flavours of Mexico and Japan are cleverly combined at Los Mochis, with a completely gluten-free and nut-free menu. Their city location definitely has special occasion vibes with a gorgeous interior and will definitely wow your group. You can sit outside on the terrace with a stunning view in the summer sun.

Their brunch menu is extensive, ranging from muffins and granola bowls to over 14 different egg options. Their brunch leans more towards the Mexican rather than the Japanese with quesadillas, huevos rancheros and various meats such as carne asada and el pastor. Make sure to try the sweetcorn fritters and one of the ‘eggs benedict’ twists, and finish off with churros… because you can!

Have to try: Huevos al pato carnitas (hash browns, pato carnitas, poached eggs, hoisin teriyaki, pineapple pico de gallo)
Perfect for: A special occasion/a gluten-free nut-free safe brunch
Approx price for 2 people: £60-80

Fabrique

Do pastries count as brunch? If you eat enough of them, we definitely think so. Fabrique is a Swedish bakery serving up hands down the best cardamom buns in London, as if they’re straight out of Stockholm. Head to their Covent Garden location which has a few small tables if you fancy sitting down. Order at the counter and try not to get carried away with the incredible smells of all the fresh pastries.

They are famous for their cardamom buns, which are as delicious as the real deal in Sweden. They’re not overly sweet (like some other bun places in London, ahem ahem) and the cardamom spices shine through beautifully with the buttery, flaky pastry. Their cinnamon buns are also super delicious and moreish. They also have an inventive range of freshly baked breads, which are not to be missed. Grab a few bits with a coffee and your day is off to a brilliant start.

Have to try: Cardamom buns (one won’t be enough)
Perfect for: A lighter brunch option
Approx price for 2 people: £10-20

E Pellicci

An East London institution, E Pellicci has been doing fry ups for the local community for over a century. This is where you go for a classic greasy full English breakfast fry up with all the elements cooked to perfection and a buzzy, unique vibe that can only be described as hectic but warm and welcoming.

The ‘have the lot’ breakfast is a must try – it has cumberland sausage, eggs, bacon, hash brown, black pudding, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, and you have to go all out with the fried bread instead of normal toast (of course). They really do mean ‘the lot’ literally, and it is really worth it. All cooked to perfection. You’ll be absolutely stuffed, but have no regrets at all.

Have to try: ‘Have the lot’ breakfast
Perfect for: If you’re starving and want a proper fry up
Approx price for 2: £20-30

La Petite Bretagne

A hole in the wall French spot in Hammersmith offering a range of both sweet and savoury authentic buckwheat crepes. With only a few seats, it’s a cosy place with lovely service that is quite unassuming and you may easily just pass it by – but keep an eye out and you’ll be impressed.

They have sweet classics like nutella and strawberries and crepe Suzette, but also more trendy collabs with oreo and kinder for a fun indulgent brunch. Their savoury crepes are our favourite – loaded with delicious French cheeses like Emmental, Reblochon or Raclette and a range of other toppings such as egg, aubergine or duck breast. Or, if you’re like us, you’ll have a savoury one to start and order a sweet one for dessert.

Have to try: The ‘Complete’ classic crepe (emmental, egg and ham)
Perfect for: A hidden gem, small and charming
Approx price for 2: £20-30

Juliet's Quality Foods

Juliet’s in Tooting offers a large space to eat including indoor space, outdoor space and a cute courtyard around the corner – perfect for summer brunch in the sun. Their menu is modern and creative with some exciting limited edition options too.

A super exciting menu with creations such as espresso butter banana bread (dreamy) and smoked pumpkin and goats curd omelet. They have a variety of breakfast sandos and bagels that all sound more delicious than the last. They even have Montreal style bagels on the menu which are not to be missed (although not quite the same as the real deal from across the pond, but we’ll give them a pat on the back for trying!).

Have to try: Banana & Cascara Bread with Salted Espresso Butter
Perfect for: A creative brunch in the sun
Approx price for 2: £35-45

Cafe Mission

A hidden rooftop terrace gem in the middle of Shoreditch, cafe Mission is a part of a movement studio serving brunch that isn’t to be missed. Bask in the sun on a rooftop table; you could easily spend hours having a long brunch in this beautiful, relaxed setting.

A varied offering including granola, shakshuka, and french toast – so there’s definitely something for everyone. Their stand out brunch items are the Japanese sandos with fluffy sweet Japanese bread and generous fillings such as shrimp tempura, chicken and cabbage or bright orange yolked eggs. No need to book a flight halfway across the world to indulge in Japanese flavours for brunch.

Have to try: Japanese sandos
Perfect for: A rooftop brunch experience
Approx price for 2 people: £30-40

Cecconi's

Didn’t think you could have a lasagne for brunch? Think again. Cecconi’s is serving up a northern Italian twist on brunch classics, such as a ‘foccacia bap’ with mortadella and fried egg and the delicious sweet and savoury mix of pancakes with pancetta and maple syrup. You could even fulfil all your wildest Italian brunch dreams and go crazy with a lasagne for brunch – might not be very breakfasty but hey, it’s on the menu.

Finish on a sweet note with their pancake stack that will leave you craving more. If you’re like us and love a sweet & salty combo go for the pancetta and maple syrup pancakes, where the cured meaty pancetta cuts through the sweetness of the golden maple syrup for a dreamy flavour combination. A lesser known gem in Shoreditch with a rustic Italian interior and laid back brunch vibes.

Have to try: Pancakes with pancetta, fried egg & maple syrup
Perfect for: A laid back brunch in the city
Approx price for 2: £35-45
