The Best Pubs in Parsons Green

Parsons Green is the most sought-after area to live in Fulham and is home to some of the nicest pubs in Fulham (and maybe even London).

The area isn’t huge and is technically only home to only a handful of pubs – you can literally count them on one hand. If you’re strictly looking for pubs in Parsons Green then this list is for you. But if you’re willing to travel a bit then we have compiled a more substantial list of the best pubs in Fulham, which include those in Parsons Green but also the whole of Fulham.

The pubs in this list are actually pretty different, catering to different people at different times. There’s literally something for everyone.

If you visit one of these pubs in Parsons Green don’t forget to check-in on Bloc and vote for your favourite venue by tapping the thumbs up below.

The Durrell Arms, Parsons Green

We love the Durrell Arms so much because it caters for everyone. It’s famous for showing live sport on multiple screens (with a large projector in the back room), but it’s also great for group bookings, foodies and even sometimes a bit of a dance.

Famously located on Munster Road, it’s easily walkable from Parsons Green station and it’s a pretty big space so it’s never difficult to find a booking. One of the coolest things to do here is hire a 6 person booth where there’s a screen inside your booth. So it’s perfect for cheering on your favourite team.

The food is okay, pretty good. What you’d expect from a pub of this nature and how busy it gets. The ‘Short Rib & Flank Burger’ is our favourite thing on the menu so definitely try that if you go.

An all-rounder pub that gets a high score from us!

Have to try: Watching live sport on their big screen in the back room
Perfect for: All occasions
Approx Price for 2 people: £35

The White Horse, Parsons Green

This is definitely the most fun pub in the whole of Parsons Green. Known as the “Sloany” or “Sloany Pony” to local residents, this is the most famous pub in the whole of Fulham.

If you come here on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday it’s likely you’ll find every man and their dog from Fulham sipping pints in their front-facing garden (is it strange we could probably say that literally?).

The White Horse is seriously fun, especially if you know people who live in Fulham. The beer garden is incredible in the summer as it’s a sun trap and they usually throw a BBQ on for the best pub food in Fulham. It can be slightly annoying sometimes when you can’t sit or have to wait 30 minutes behind someone in a queue talking about how sloshed they got at apre-ski in Feb – but that’s life in South West eh?!

On a more serious note, definitely come to The White Horse in the winter as well when they put on their cosy fire and put together a delicious winter menu. When the summer hits, get down there early, secure your spot and have one of the best nights you’ll ever have at a pub in London.

Have to try: Their BBQ in the summer and roast in the winter
Perfect for: Drinking in the sun & meeting friends
Approx price for 2 people: £50

Duke on the Green, Parsons Green

Opposite The White Horse, on the other side of the Green of Parsons Green, lies “The Duke”. A very, very nice pub that has it all. It’s definitely more family-friendly than The White Horse and it’s a much more chilled out vibe.

People tend to go to Duke on the Green to eat and to have a relaxed time with friends. It’s the top pick of pubs in Parsons Green/Fulham for when you need to catch up with friends.

There’s board games, a pub quiz during the week and a pretty good menu for a Young’s pub. There’s no beer garden but there are tables and chairs out front that get quite a bit of sun.

Choose the Duke on the Green if you want to eat and drink but not get sloshed and don’t fancy meeting new people.

Have to try: Relaxed cocktails
Perfect for: Meeting friends
Approx price for 2 people: £40

Aragon House, Parsons Green

Aragon House is also The White Horse and is located next to Duke on the Green in Parsons Green. The 3 pubs actually form a perfect triangle with the park in between.

Aragon House is a great option for when The White Horse is too busy and you’re looking to change it up. There’s a mixed crowd at Aragon House due to its large dining area and even bigger courtyard garden. You’ll have all kinds of people eating here from Fulham and Parsons Green as the food is very good, but you’ll have a younger crowd in the garden demanding sun and beers.

Aragon House is also a pub with rooms (15 to be exact) which are done up incredibly tastefully. Each room is unique and definitely can be considered boutique. If you have friends who need a place to stay in Parsons Green/Fulham then this is a great option as you can come and meet them very easily.

Have to try: Drinking in the courtyard garden
Perfect for: Foodies and meeting friends
Approx price for 2 people: £50

The Brown Cow, Parsons Green

The Brown Cow is very different from the other pubs in Parsons Green as it definitely feels more like a restaurant than a pub. This gastropub has a great focus on the food and is very rustic.

It’s a lovely spot to go on a 3rd date or to take the parents to. It’s very relaxed and you get a real sense of sophistication as soon as you enter. Its regulars include the famous male model David Gandy and Hugh Grant, so if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for us.

Midweek there’s some pretty decent deals here as well. Their generous 2 cocktails for £15 is a winner and their wine club deal where if you buy 2 glasses of wine, you get the rest of the bottle free – which is pretty good.

Book the Brown Cow if you’re after a decent foodie evening and don’t forget to try their oysters.

Have to try: Their oysters
Perfect for: Dinner with the in-laws
